Pemberton Search and Rescue, is a dedicated team of highly trained volunteers committed to the safety of our community members and visitors. Founded in 1994, Pemberton Search and Rescue is a key part of our community. Providing search and rescue services covering the largest area in the rugged and diverse terrain of BC.
Our Mission:
At Pemberton Search and Rescue, our mission is to save lives and assist those in distress by offering efficient and effective search and rescue operations. We strive to promote outdoor safety awareness, provide education on wilderness survival, and collaborate with local agencies and organizations to enhance emergency response capabilities.

Our organization is composed of a diverse group of passionate individuals, each contributing their unique skills and expertise to fulfill our mission. At the heart of PEMSAR is our Board of Directors, comprised of experienced leaders from various professional backgrounds, all sharing a love and dedication to the safety of everyone in our beautiful area.
